Scarves & Shawls
I love weaving scarves and shawls. Most of the time I focus on beautiful colors and fibers, and I keep the structure simple. I love using color gradations and I love geometric shapes. I always try to weave a scarf that has a soft and luxurious hand so I work with beautiful yarns like silk, tencel, bamboo and lightweight wools, including my own homespun yarns. Most of my scarves and shawls are woven on 8 harnesses, but some have more complex structures and were woven on a loom with as many as 16 harnesses.
My goal has always been to never weave 2 scarves or shawls that are exactly alike, making each of my pieces unique.
