The magical pattern for this elegant silk scarf comes from the interplay of three colors in the warp: orange, turquoise and red. It was woven with a deep blue silk in a turned taqueté pattern, also known as JIN, on a 16 harness loom. The colors play together to create multiple shades of red, orange, blue and turquoise.
There really is nothing like silk to create this wonderful sheen and drape. The scarf was hemmed by hand. It is quite long and can easily be worn doubled or wrapped a couple of times around your neck.
