These towels were woven using three gorgeous hand-painted warps created by Kathrin Weber of Blazing Shuttles. The colors in the hand-painted warps include magenta, pink, purple, lavender, blue, aqua, and turquoise. Two of the warps are used on the borders and the third was used for the center section of the warp.
The towels are hemmed by hand. They are practical, very absorbent and can be put to use in your kitchen drying your dishes or they would be lovely used as a decorative accent in your kitchen or powder room. They also make great gifts!
- Two of the towels were woven in a pattern that created various sized boxes in the cloth. One of those was woven with magenta and the other with aqua.
- The other two towels were woven to create "deconstructed" boxes or a fancy twill. On of those was woven with royal blue and the other with teal.
