Summer Love Cotton Towels - Handwoven
These wonderful towels were woven using a hand-painted cotton warp created by Kathrin Weber of Blazing Shuttles. The main colors in the hand-painted warp were blue, green, yellow, pale orange, pink and purple. Accent colors of aqua, turquoise, lavender, orange, pink, and periwinkle surrounded by white form tiny stripes in the warp.
Each was woven with a twill pattern with a single color cotton weft of turquoise, white, teal, orange, aqua or periwinkle blue. Look through the pictures to see which one is your favorite.
The towels were hemmed by hand. They are practical, very absorbent and can be put to use in your kitchen for drying your dishes or they would be lovely used as a decorative accent in your kitchen or powder room. They also make great gifts!
