The magical pattern for this elegant scarf comes from the interplay of three colors in the silk warp: deep teal, turquoise and chartreuse. It was woven with a fine red silk in a turned taqueté pattern, also known as JIN, on a 16 harness loom. The red weft transforms the blues and greens of the warp to a lavender/purple, cranberry, pale orange and aqua.
The scarf has a wonderful sheen and drape. Hemmed by hand, it is quite long and can easily be worn doubled or wrapped a couple of times around your neck.
