This handwoven scarf was woven on 16 harnesses in a twill pattern that creates boxes in the cloth. The Tencel warp was hand-painted by NC artist Kathrin Weber of Blazing Shuttles and included many shades of purple, blue, turquoise and charcoal. The scarf was woven with a fine silk weft in black, and was hemmed by hand.
The scarf has a glorious hand and is long enough to be doubled or wrapped twice around the neck.
