This handwoven scarf was woven on 16 harnesses in a twill pattern that creates boxes in the cloth. The Tencel warp was hand-painted by NC artist Kathrin Weber of Blazing Shuttles and included many shades of purple, blue, turquoise and charcoal. The scarf was woven with fine silk wefts in purple, blue and mauve
The scarf has a glorious hand and is long enough to be doubled or wrapped twice around the neck.
Content: Tencel* & silk
Measures approx. 12 1/2" x 75” excluding the 6” twisted fringe.
Care instructions: Hand washing recommended.
