Stormy Tencel & Silk Scarf/ Turquoise/ Handwoven
This fun handwoven Tencel and silk scarf was woven on 8 harnesses in a turned twill pattern. The larger, center sections of the warp are a beautiful hand-painted Tencel yarn in shades of shale gray, turquoise, aqua and cream. The solid outer stripes and one small stripe in the warp are turquoise and shale gray.
The scarf was woven with a beautiful turquoise silk yarn. The weave structure created horizontal stripes in the solid sections throughout most of the scarf and horizontal stripes in the hand-painted sections on the borders.
This scarf is long enough to wear doubled or knotted. It has a soft hand and drapes beautifully.
The hand-painted warp was dyed by Sydney Sogol.

Measures approx. 10 1/2" x 73” excluding the 5” twisted fringe.
Care instructions: Hand washing recommended.
