Copper Patina Tencel Wrap - Copper Weft/ Handwoven
Is it a scarf or a shawl? This piece is narrow enough to wear as a scarf and wide enough to throw over your shoulders. The hand of the scarf is soft and luxurious.
Three tencel yarns were combined in this piece. The variegated yarn was a hand-painted yarn created by Carr Park Artisans and used shades of aqua, teal, copper and rust. The solid stripes in the warp were copper and rust.
The scarf was woven with copper colored tencel. The weave structure is a turned twill which creates the boxes in the cloth. Because the structure emphasizes the hand-painted warp on one surface of the scarf and the solid weft on the other, the two sides of the scarf look different from each other but are equally beautiful.
Fiber content: 100% Tencel
Measures approximately 13 3/4" x 77” excluding the 6” twisted fringe.
