Not Your Grandma's Lace Wrap / Handwoven
The tencel warp for this elegant, one-of-a-kind handwoven wrap was created from a warp that I dyed under the supervision of Kathrin Weber of Blazing Shuttles. The colors in the warp include turquoise, blue, fuchsia and pink. The borders in the warp were dyed with a pale blue.
The wrap was woven in a beautiful Bronson lace weave, using a fine turquoise silk, giving the scarf an incredible iridescence and a beautiful drape and hand. This is a very long scarf that can easily be worn doubled, and it is wide enough to be used as a narrow shawl or a scarf.
Content: Tencel* and silk
Measures approx. 14” x 85” excluding the 6” twisted fringe.
Care instructions: Hand washing recommended.
* Tencel is an environmentally friendly fiber made from wood pulp. It is easy-care, soft, silky, kind to the skin, and has a lovely sheen.
