Willy Wonka Tencel Scarf/ Red weft/ Handwoven
This fun handwoven scarf was woven on 8 harnesses in a turned twill pattern. The warp combines stripes of a variegated Tencel* yarn hand-painted by Kathrin Weber of Blazing Shuttles using purple, orange and lavender with solid rayon stripes in lavender and rose with orange accents. The scarf was woven with a beautiful red tencel, and the weave structure created horizontal stripes in the solid sections of the warp.
This scarf is long enough to wear doubled or knotted. It has a soft hand and drapes beautifully.
Fiber content: Tencel* & rayon
Measures approx. 11" x 76” excluding the 5” twisted fringe.
Care instructions: Hand washing recommended.
* Tencel is an environmentally friendly fiber made from wood pulp. It is easy-care, soft, silky, kind to the skin, and has a lovely sheen.
