Fall Sunset Cotton and Tencel Scarf - Gold Weft/ Handwoven
This is a fun, colorful, one-of-a-kind handwoven scarf.
Two fine cotton warps were combined in this piece. One warp is a hand-painted warp created by artist Kathrin Weber of Blazing Shuttles and uses rich autumn tones including purple, gold, rose, rust and copper. The other warp intersperses solid stripes between the painted warp stripes and includes beautiful purples and reddish purple with tiny accents of green.
This scarf was woven with a beautiful, fine hand dyed gold/pumpkin colored tencel yarn. The twill structure creates stripes across the scarf periodically for added interest. and the two sides of the scarf look somewhat different from each other.
The hand of the scarf is soft and luxurious and the color changes mean that everywhere you look, you see something different and exciting!
